China manufacturers have come a long way. We have seen the ‘made in china’ mark all too much to worry whether they are good at the job or not. Did you know that 50% of the world’s cameras and 25% of the refrigerators are produced in China? The list doesn’t end there! China produces more than 12% of the world’s consumer goods. And quality is just the variable the China manufacturers are on a constant race to improve.

If you are building your brand, concentrate on your designs and stop worrying about the quality. China is on that job.

In a country that thrives on its production lines, there is too much competition and the China manufacturers battle every day to improve quality to keep their head above water. Consider Eddie Leung of Dailywin Watch Products. His company produces about 1.5 million pieces a year and this is a very high figure when you realize the fact that he produces them for Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger, Jennifer Lopez and Titan, you name the brand. Talking about Leung in an article, Roger Cohen of The New York Times said, “You can be all-American like Hilfiger or very French like Lacoste. Then you get China to develop that image at a low cost.”

Manufacturer China can understandably vie for clients like Mr. Leung has and the country itself produces more electronic and mechanical engineers than any place in the world. Industry Week recently surveyed the manufacturers in China and the USA and it was learnt that 54% of the China manufacturers have innovation as their top objective compared to a mere 26% of the U.S. manufacturers. Plants in China invest heavily in infrastructure and some of the manufacturing plants are more modern than the most developed countries in the world.

So, why choose China as your manufacturing destination? A long time U.S. resident in southern China was quoted as saying, “Does America have a choice of a cheaper place for a quality product?” Not any that we know of anyways. One who understands how markets work wouldn’t find it difficult to understand why a China manufacturer always puts his customer before himself. Even the growing difficulties in the global markets due to the great recession haven’t subdued China’s quest for quality. With 9% of the vast country’s economy depending on their exports, it is not a risk they are willing to take.

If you want your products in the global mall, no one cuts you a better deal than the China manufacturers. Of course you need to appraise the manufacturer before you cut a deal and there are some trusted consultancies which help you do that. Do your ground work and be rest assured that the China manufacturer will take care of your production line. After all, the ‘world’ trusts them.

Outsourcing makes a lot of sense in today’s diminishing economy. Increasing costs of production are one reason why many companies choose cheaper destinations for manufacturing their product lines. Outsourcing China still remains the top option for companies worldwide for reasons anyone can imagine. China might not be in the ranks of the developed nations, but one thing it is richer than anybody else is in it’s abundance of engineers. China ‘produces’ 350,000 engineers every year and the pure entrepreneurial nature of the skilled labor in China makes them put in up to 12 work hours a day, six days a week!

China outsourcing has been a regular feature in every business forum. Even as the dollar falls, outsourcing to China becomes cheaper because the yuan is pegged to it. Whether you are in IT, electronics, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, raw materials or even fashion, China outsourcing helps you develop your brand while maintaining top notch standards. Consider the case of the top pharma outsourcing company WuXi PharmaTech (WX). Helping the World’s top companies with their R&D, WX is known for 100% client retention. The Ph.D’s in the company are trained in the west as are their MBAs. While maintaining the highest standards for employment and corporate practices, the company managed to grab the cream of projects from the best pharmaceutical companies.

China’s outsourcing companies are majorly supported by the government of the country. It is no surprise since the country’s economy is practically dependent on its manufacturing industry. Apart from investing majorly in the education sector, Chinese government is also known to fund advanced infrastructure that helps various outsourcing companies. For example, the country directed the majority of a huge stimulus package to develop a west-to-east pipeline project that helped the oil services companies all over the country to get offshore projects.

China outsourcing companies offer a lot of value for your money and at 6.81 yuan a dollar, the services come far cheaper than anywhere else in the world. You will still be left with a comfortable margin even after shipping and other miscellaneous duties. The best way to go about a China outsourcer is to contact an agency that specialize in rating the companies in terms of employee qualification, rate of production, prices, packaging, engineering quality, infrastructure, etc. Extensive research is required before making a deal with a company and because China outsourcing companies go to every length to retain a customer, it is best to have this relationship with a trustworthy and promising company.

China has seen unprecedented growth in the manufacturing of consumer goods in the last decade. It is not really hard to fathom the reason behind this boom. The

unending supply of human resource and its relatively poor domestic economy make Chinese labor cheap. Statics show that the Chinese were contributing only 3% to the

world manufacturing in 1995, which has skyrocketed to an impressive 11% by 2005. With a growth rate of 20% and the competition at the national manufacturing sector

level, the China product development is escalating at a rate unimaginable to any other nation. Currently the Chinese have huge production plants mainly in the

telecommunication and computing related products and in the production of electrical products.

China manufacturing is a mammoth sector which runs primarily on the concepts of economical production, fast-tracked manufacturing processes and timely shipping. The

customized development of a product and the sharing of these designs, lead to creation of products which are of global standards and are very well received in the

global markets. It is true that while around a decade and half ago, the only popular mass production units that China had were in the clothing and shoes department.

Today, however, there isn’t a consumer product available in the market that a China manufacturer cannot deliver. Though the Chinese markets were a little hit during

the Hong Kong repatriation, manufacturing in China was soon up and running mainly due to the direct investments from the foreign countries, which incidentally crossed

the seventy-five billion mark in the year 2007.

A direct result of the booming manufacturing industry in the country has the result of better standards of living for Chinese citizens. With a huge percentage of the

country’s population working in such sectors of continuous research and development, China is hyped to be the next educational nucleus of the world. One has to bear in

mind that the China manufacturers are quite particular about quality control in China and only churn our world-class goods, making them more popular in the world

markets. Many tests are performed and the design is constantly improved until they reach a flawless state, after which only the product goes ahead and is available in

the market. It is very rare that a China manufacturer churns out a product to bad reviews.

China Manufacturing is taking over all of the world markets and other countries need to put up a really good fight, or else bow to the China superiority pretty soon.

China manufacturing activity has increased three fold in
the last ten years, undoubtedly making China the largest manufacturer of
consumer goods in the world. The reasons are not hard to imagine. With a
population that constitutes nearly one fifth of the world population and a
relatively poor economy, Chinese labour is pretty cheap. With China’s current
stronghold in the production of electrical, telecommunication and computing
related products, there is an abundant raise in the nation’s economy with
China’s production increasing to 11% of world’s manufacturing in 2005, from just
3% in 1995. Every year China manufacturing is increasing by 20% and the fierce
competition in the country’s manufacturers is taking China product development
to advanced levels.

China industrial design is based on three factors: low cost
production, fast tracked manufacturing processes and prompt shipping. Guiding
all the above factors is the customized OEM development of products, which is a
selling factor for almost every manufacturer China. This means that designs can
be shared with and further developed by the chosen manufacturer in China who
would in return apply their expertise to develop products that, in many times,
rose to great demand in global markets. While fifteen years ago, China was only
popular for its mass production units of clothing and shoes, the country has now
expanded its dominion to almost every consumer product in market today. Direct
investment from foreign economies hit the 75 billion mark in the year 2007,
which is a highly advantageous to the country’s financial state considering the
state it was in just a few years ago during Hong Kong repatriation.

China manufacturing
has grown leaps and bounds, effectively improving the living state and
conditions of the county’s population by several degrees. About a hundred
million people work in the nation’s many manufacturing plants, developing every
kind of product that humans have known to date. Subsequently, the thirst for
knowledge as well as the need and means for education have seen a rapid
development in the country as well with peers touting China to be the next big
educational hub of the world. Well, why not, considering China’s products range
from clothes to chemicals, to aircraft to satellites.

China is also into major production of mining and ore
processing, producing metals such as aluminum, iron, etc. China engineering has
gone to the next level with the country receiving orders for armaments,
automotives and heavy weight transport vehicles to a whole range of electronic
goods. China quality control has also increased along with all the other factors
since these manufacturers are well aware of the high standards now expected in
international markets. High guarantee goods are produced after several tests are
performed and the design is developed and flaws rectified with every new order.
It is a common fact that there are a very few companies dissatisfied by product
development in China and fewer still where disputes arose due to quality or
sophistication.

Though the magnetic shift of the manufacturing base to
China has caused protests among several worldwide business organizations, the
potential for business opportunity due to this shift is duly realized.

China is the biggest country regarding area and population in the globe. In the outsourcing phase of business China is one of the leading countries in the business world. It is not an easy aspect to get an entry in the international trade market of China. The legal and government system in China is very complicated and it also involves a good amount of paperwork, which sometimes baffles the investors. The work council and labour unions in China outsourcing are very influential and the laws are very strong regarding the security of the international trade.

Outsourcing is the process of shifting or delegating or transferring a service or process or function to a third parties or external service provider which would otherwise be an in-house function or service or process. Outsourcing is a trend that is becoming more common in information technology and other industries for services that have usually been regarded as intrinsic to managing a business. In some cases, the entire information management of a company is outsourced, including planning and business analysis as well as the installation, management, and servicing of the network and workstations.

Outsourcing is different from contracting in the sense that in contracting there is no transfer of control where as in outsourcing there is transfer of control.
Outsourcing has taken many forms in recent times. As the past organizations still hire service providers to handle diverse business functions. But now many organizations prefer to outsource whole operations to another company or firm. These outsourcing companies are most commonly known as Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO). These are also the most common form of outsourcing.

The recipients for outsourced activities are generally in the same country, when a company on another continent is involved then it is termed as offshore outsourcing. Near-shore outsourcing refers to outsourced projects that are outside the country, but on the same continent.

The main object of the outsourcing is cost reduction. Through outsourcing achieve the change by way of improve the quality and it provides access to intellectual property and wider experience and knowledge and also provides access to operational best practice that would be difficult or time taking to develop in house. It also provides access to a larger talent pool and a sustainable source of skills in particular in science and engineering. It involves an improved method of capacity management of services and technology where the risk in providing the excess capacity is borne by the supplier. It also helps to reduce time to market by providing additional capability. It also involves the risk management, which helps in minimize the risk. For outsourcing some countries offer tax incentives to move manufacturing operations to counter high corporate taxes within another country.

In Outsourcing China , there is mostly considered thing is hourly labor cost. Quality of work, reliability, efficiency, flexibility, ease of communication and cultural issues are just as relevant in laying out an outsourcing strategy, as are macro factors such as geopolitical risks. The most outstanding virtue of China as an outsourcing destination is the cost. The software outsourcing business in China is still in its infancy. Most of the growth and attention is recent. However there are some risks also involved such as vendor landscape, which is a backdrop, explains the fragmented vendor landscape. The Chinese software industry is awash with small companies. This fragmentation feeds into and explains why many of the Chinese software companies haven’t been able to amass the kind of higher level skills needed to handle projects larger than one-off contracting work. Another risk factor is the talent pool available in China. Though the supply of workers is abundant, the quality of this supply is, in fact, still questionable and hence something to consider before outsourcing to China.

China provides vast outsourcing services in various fields such as tours and travels, health, medical, technology, cars, home, family, business etc. China outsourcing provides efficient and effective services with its experience, education and special skills to all over the world that’s why it becomes one of the leading countries in the world in the phase of business outsourcing.

China is the world’s largest market place connecting the huge number of buyers and sellers throughout the globe with its innovative manufacturing system. China is the leading manufacturer of chemical fertilizers, cement, and steel worldwide by following the technology and efficient marketing methods. The China manufacturing sector plays a vital role in increasing the countries GNP by providing the employment in a wide range of fields and expertise.

In order to win the current global competition China manufactures products better, cheaper and faster which is the one of the important principals of the China manufacturing system. We are seeing fundamental changes in international business structures and deployment of global capital. The manufacturing sector remains significant in leading economies worldwide, but faces major issues such as cost competitiveness, product innovation and how to compete in an increasingly global market, of course by innovative design and product development Chinese is gaining a competitive advantage.

China invites manufacturing plants to locate there with open arms and deferred taxes. China is attaining pre-eminence in global manufacturing. The country already produces 50 percent of the world’s cameras, 30 percent of air conditioners and televisions, 25 percent of washing machines, and 20 percent of refrigerators. One private Chinese company manufactures 40 percent of all microwave ovens sold in Europe. The city of Wenzhou in Eastern China produces 70 percent of the world’s metal cigarette lighters. Chinese producers continue to move forward, investing strongly in new plant and equipment.
Cost is usually the major driver in the market to purchase products. China provides products at low cost with quality which attracts the large number of buyers it has throughout the world. China price, which always seemed to be at least 40% lower than United States’ costs on everything from bedroom furniture to telecom gear, is narrowing. The biggest factors behind the sharp shift are currency fluctuations and labour costs. The Yuan has appreciated by around 11% against the dollar since late 2005, and wages have risen 7% to 8% a year. To rein in polluting industries, Beijing has stripped away tax breaks for exporters of some heavy industrial products.

China manufacturing advantages remain formidable. With factory wages averaging $1.26 an hour, the mainland is still hard to beat for labour-intensive products such as toys and apparel. China is also rising fast in industries like solar power modules and cars, thanks to strong domestic demand and generous government incentives.

All over with its effective price advantages, efficient manufacturing methods, and typical financial strategies, China has retained its unrivalled supply base of parts and materials in some industries. It remains the king of consumer-electronics and PC manufacturing and in a wide range of other products.

For many industries relating to the manufacturing and engineering sectors, assessment of quality control has become an essential factor to survive in the current world market. China Quality Control Management is one of the most widely used mechanisms for quality control of various products.

Usually, several businesses implement a quality control process to drive their organization to a high standard level of quality. Companies seeking for quality control need to choose a reliable service provider who offers a credible service.

Quality control is an essential aspect in the manufacturing process. The process initiates with the inspection of quality control of raw material and ensures whether it meets the requirements of the industry. Subsequently, it recognizes and executes sampling and analytical methodology, thus minimizes faults in the analytical records. Inspection of quality control can be applied to all materials, structures, components or systems utilized in production and operations of an industry.

China Quality control inspection leads to several consequences that facilitate your organization to provide eminent products. The following are some of the major upshots of China Quality Control:

• Prevention of risk factors
• Avoids usage of wrong material
• Implementation of remedial actions
• Reduction of loss
• Safety and consistency
• Evoking the product
• Assertion of the clients
• Shipment Returns
• Customer’s dignity
• Health Hazards
• Saves time and money

Major Elements of Quality Control

Planning: It is an internal document to organize, plan and control the quality control activities. There should be a planned system of assessment methods involved in the product development cycle. This would verify whether the statistics meet the quality objectives, and signifies the finest estimate of emissions and declines.

Implementation: While implementing the operations of quality control, it is essential to determine which methods have to be used and when and where they have to be applied. The implementation and process of quality control requires resources, proficiency and adequate time.

Assessment: Further step is to evaluate the quality assertion, where the enhancement of analysis and quality assurance environment could escalate the development productivity, consequently minimizing the shipment charges and increasing the customer satisfaction.

It involves the determination, testing and gauging to certain attributes in regard to an object or activity. The results are compared to specified necessities and standards for determining the targets.
